NURSING MAMA’S TEA

I just want to share my recipe which i always use during breastfeeding, this recipe helps to boost your milk.

Recipe

1. Boil the water

2. Mix together the fennel, dill and methi seeds

3. Add the seeds to the boiling water and boil for 30 mins until the tea is nice and brown

4. Let the tea cool and start filling up your bottles

i do take 3 to 4 bottles or cup daily.

Other foods that boost your milk are

1. oat
2. brewer’s yeast
3.flax seeds
4. spinach
5.water
6. garlic
7.carrots
8.hummus
9. fennel
10. papaya
11. nuts
12.ginger
13.sesame seed
14.yogurt
15. dill
16. brown rice or couscous or quinoa
17.yam
18. salmon
19. raw honey
20. banana
21. apple
22.Almond milk
23 asparagus
24. beet etc

I love to drink couscous smoothie or oatmeal smoothie a lot too when i am breastfeeding, it keep me full for a longer time.

RECIPE

soak your couscous in a hot water
when it is soft transfer it into your blender
add half banana and half beet
1/2 cup of yogurt and blend with ice

for the oatmeal {quaker oat}

cook the quaker oat
when it is done transfer it into the blender
add half banana and half beet
1/2 cup of greek yogurt and blend with ice if you like
